Coach Tim Buckley

Tim Buckley is the founder of Creative Dynamic Sports (CDS) in Cumming, GA. A former NFL athlete and lifelong student of human performance, Tim blends on-field experience with evidence-based methods to help athletes move better, get faster, and stay healthier—season after season.

Upbringing & Early Drive

Tim grew up in a sports-first family culture where discipline, service, and consistency mattered as much as winning. He learned early that character and habits—sleep, nutrition, work ethic—create the base for performance and confidence. Those roots shaped the way he trains athletes today: start with movement quality, reinforce great habits, then layer in speed and strength.

From Athlete to Coach

After competing at the highest level as a former NFL athlete, Tim saw a gap between “gym strong” and game-ready. He began coaching with a simple belief: athletes deserve a plan that respects their developmental age, training history, and sport demands. CDS was born from that mission—to turn potential into repeatable, resilient performance.

Founding Creative Dynamic Sports (CDS)

Tim launched CDS in Cumming, GA to serve youth and high-school athletes across North Georgia. The goal: build a community where athletes train with purpose, positivity, and accountability. Build athletes for life and not just sports. Build and shape the mind and mentality for growth

Training Philosophy

Tim’s approach is progression-based: teach mechanics, then add speed, then add fatigue and chaos. He uses simple, reliable benchmarks, how you accelerate, how you brake, how you rotate, and he builds strength around those mechanics. The result is transfer: speed you can actually control on the field or court, and strength that supports durability.
