It is one of the loneliest calls a sports parent makes. Say something to the coach and risk marking your kid, or stay quiet and risk failing them. Almost nobody hands you a framework for it. So tell me what is going on, and I'll tell you whether to step in, and exactly how.
Most coach problems are not worth a conversation, and the few that are get ruined by bad timing and the wrong words. The cost of getting it wrong lands on your kid, not on you. Pick the right battle, at the right moment, with the right words, and you protect your athlete instead of branding them.
