Why Volleyball Athletes Train At CDS

Play Higher.Faster. Healthier.

CDS targets jump training, approach mechanics, landing control, lateral quickness, and shoulder stability so volleyball athletes play higher, faster, and healthier. We build explosive power without sacrificing mobility.

We program plyometrics, deceleration and landing, and shoulder and hip resilience to support hitting, blocking, defense, and transitions · so athletes finish tournaments as strong as they started them.

Common Questions

Volleyball Speed & PerformanceFAQs

What positions does CDS train for volleyball?

All positions are welcome. Outside hitters, middles, opposites, setters, defensive specialists, and liberos all train at CDS. Programming adapts to position-specific demands so each athlete builds the jump, lateral speed, and durability their role requires.

Will training help my athlete jump higher?

Yes. Vertical jump comes from elastic power, single-leg strength, ground force production, and clean approach mechanics. Our programs build all four so athletes gain real inches without sacrificing landing control or joint health.

Is the training shoulder-friendly for high-volume hitters?

Yes. Shoulder health is built into every program. Scapular stability, rotator cuff durability, and mobility work help athletes handle high-volume swings and serves without breaking down across long club and tournament seasons.

What ages and levels does CDS train for volleyball?

We train youth, middle school, high school, and club volleyball athletes. Programming scales by training age and competitive level so each athlete gets work that fits where they are right now.
