Track & FieldSpeed & Performance
Built For TheSprint, Jump, Throw
CDS coaches acceleration, max-velocity mechanics, plyometrics, and event-specific strength so sprinters, jumpers, and throwers perform at their peak. We optimize posture, projection angles, stiffness, and rhythm across the sprint/jump/throw spectrum.
Event-specific progressions build speed, power, and resilience while protecting hamstrings, knees, and ankles · because meet-day performance starts with year-round availability.
Block start and drive phase mechanics · upright sprint posture · max-velocity rhythm · race endurance and hurdle clearance technique. Built around the moment that wins races: the first 30 meters.
Approach run mechanics · penultimate step · plant and projection · landing control. Plyometric progressions that build explosive takeoff power without sacrificing technique.
Rotational power development · ground force production · sequencing from legs through trunk to arm. Strength training designed to translate directly into throw distance.

Built For The AthletesWho Want More
This program is for sprinters, jumpers, throwers, and multi-event athletes who want a clear plan for getting faster, more explosive, and more durable. Training that goes beyond running laps and event reps · the kind that actually translates to PRs.
Events & Levels
Sprints · Jumps · Throws · Multi-Events · Hurdles · Middle School · High School · College-Prep athletes welcome.
In-Season & Off-Season
In-season training focuses on movement quality, hamstring resilience, and meet-day readiness. Off-season cycles build the speed, power and strength that show up come spring.
Training sprinters, jumpers, and throwers across Forsyth County and North Georgia.
Performance TrainingDesigned For Meet Day
Most track training focuses on event reps and conditioning. CDS focuses on the underlying speed, power, plyometric and strength foundations that make every event rep more effective and lower injury risk. Clear testing, real data, and event-specific progressions that translate directly to PRs.
Coach Tim Buckley
Coach Tim Buckley is the founder of Creative Dynamic Sports · a former NFL Wide Receiver with the Atlanta Falcons and a B.S. in Biology with Pre-Physical Therapy emphasis from Alcorn State University. His mission is to build athletes who are confident · durable · and dangerous in their event.
CDS is trusted by families, schools, and teams who want a combination of expert training, real communication, and a culture that pushes athletes while reminding them why they love the sport.
Track & FieldFAQs
What track and field events does CDS train?
We train sprinters, jumpers, throwers, and multi-event athletes. Programming covers acceleration, max-velocity mechanics, jumps approach and landing technique, throws rotational power, and event-specific strength.
Do you offer testing and progress tracking?
Yes. Optional timing and jump metrics are available so athletes and parents can track progress. Testing happens at the start of training cycles and again at retest checkpoints to measure improvement.
How is this different from a regular track practice?
Most track practices focus on event reps and conditioning. CDS focuses on the underlying speed, power, plyometric and strength foundations that make every event rep more effective and lower injury risk.
What if my athlete is in season right now?
We adjust volume and intensity so training supports the season instead of draining the athlete. In-season work focuses on movement quality, hamstring resilience, ankle stiffness, and meet-day readiness.
